Divinergy handover their 22kW Solar Pump System to Dubai Municipality

On 7th Dec. 2017, Divinergy (Dubai) branch facilitated the installation of 7*24 solar pump system in Dubai Bab Al Shams desert for Dubai Municipality.

The municipality needed a solution that would pump the water 24hours/day and reduce their O&M costs for previous diesel solution. Divinergy implemented one of its new smart solar pump system that could automatically monitor the water level and keep running in 24hours/day with its suitable battery bank. This system was a preliminary demonstration of the technical experience and capabilities of Divinergy team in executing solutions for future solar pump projects.

Eng. Shafer Al Ali, Director of Dubai municipality drainage and irrigation department said that solar pump projects and applications have become a priority in the projects of Dubai Municipality because of its economic feasibility and environmental and health benefits.

He emphasized that the Divinergy solar pump system, with its outstanding design, implementation and operation, will ensure us to achieve the goal of carbon emissions elimination.

Al Ali added that the solar pump system in Bab Al Shams desert is a preparatory stage for implementing this successful experience in existing pump and future projects. And hope Divinergy team will continuously deliver this kind of advanced and reliable solutions to Dubai Municipality.
